Arriving by train

From the central railway station it is about a 10 minute walk to the institute. Leave the station at the main entrance and turn left. After about 250 metres there is a large crossing. Cross here at the traffic lights and continue in the same direction. The road is called Stefan-Meier-Strasse. On the left there is a large, modern university building. At the end of this building there is a pedestrian crossing. Cross here and enter the road called Albertstrasse. Continue along Albertstrasse until you reach the building (marked 27 on the map above) which is Albertstrasse 21.

Arriving by car

Exit: 'Freiburg Mitte' - then exit 'Hauptbahnhof' - Schnewlinstrasse - drive past the central railway station (Hauptbahnhof) - cross at the traffic lights (Stefan-Meier-Strasse) - turn right just before the pedestrian crossing into Albertstrasse (a large white building called Otto Krayer Haus is immediately to your left). Please use off-campus parking spaces.
